John Bass John.Bass@CrossFit24.com About CrossFit has been a blessing in his life. While growing up, John always competed intensely at whatever sport or competition was presented to him. He was blessed to play college basketball at Pacific University and compete in two bodybuilding competitions. CrossFit has allowed him to have that edge back. Coupled with his desire to encourage and teach and his love of people, it has become a passion. Professionally, he is an optometrist and has two practices in Ft. Worth and Southlake. His first CrossFit WOD absolutely destroyed him. Five years later all he has done is main page WODs, learning each movement by video early on; now teaches others the same functional movements that can test the most accomplished athletes to first time CrossFiters. CrossFit 24 Kids has grown and is dear to his heart; He always feels like if he knew then what he knows now!!!! John wants kids to have the knowledge to eat correctly and see it's OK to sweat and work hard. It’s a great lifestyle.
