19 stone couch potato, to Caveman and now Ironman

Suz DF  Suz used to do lot’s of running, and low calorie dieting – she had minimal musle tone and as a result not real body shape, which is quite common for young females. Suz now lifts heavy twice each week on a 1:1 basis and completes 2 group sessions for her conditioning. As a result she’s now stronger, leaner, more confident and has a healthy relationship with food and exercise. Helen Diamand  Triathlete who has seen dramatic improvements in not only performance times, but also  injury rates, ability to recover and perform more volume and intensity since working with us  Jemma McDonagh Jemma completely chaged her body shape, and attitude towards exercise after the birth of her second child. 6 months of training post child allowed Jemma to be 4 dress sizes down on her big day “I joined at BodyForce in early February 2012 after seeing the results it had on a friend. With only 6 months to go till my wedding it was time I got my act together and do something about loosing the ‘babyweight’ from my 2nd son. And I love my food to much to diet so I went along to give caveman classes ago. My first class was in the ice and snow but immediately loved the class, and the group of people there were so welcoming and friendly. I soon became a ‘caveman addict’ and started going 2/3 times a week. The results were amazing. I lost 21lbs for my wedding, becoming a size 8/10 which I’d never thought was possible (Pre pregnancy size was 12!). Now the wedding has been and gone, I still intend on keeping up the classes because they challenge me to push harder in a fun way!”

“I was initially a little apprehensive about trying out a session, as it looks so “hardcore” and I hadn’t done much in the way of fitness training for over a decade.  However, after one session I was hooked – not just by how good I felt but by the positive energy and friendly atmosphere of the group. I also wasn’t expecting the super-fast results:  after 2 weeks of training 3 times per week, I lost 2 inches off my waist and hips.  I have since lost an extra inch off my waist and hips, and have given 2 garbage bags full of frumpy clothes to charity!   My increased confidence has enabled me to make new friends, land a new job and make some other life-changing decisions that I would never have been brave enough to make in the past.  The group has something for everyone, and there is such a variety of age groups and athletic abilities. I approached Stuart and he put forward an extremely detailed 9 month plan of action with every single session and cycle to every last detail, which turned out to be really important. It was amazing to live the life and train like a professional!  9 months later I weighed in at 11 stone, which was an almost perfect 0.3kg under the weight category  won 2 , drew 1 and received many compliments about my physical display at the tournament. “As an addicted Gym Bunny, If someone had told me one year ago that I would be cancelling my membership and would be pouring all my spare training time into something called ‘’ I would never have believed them.  A year on and that certainly is the case, I am 100% addicted and loving training ‘the way we’re meant to’ 3 times a week.  As a result, I feel like a different person –I’m fitter: When I enter races I run then faster than I did previously and recently came 6th lady in the Boulderdash race, running faster than people I used to run against that would have beaten me last year.  I’m more toned in areas I didn’t even know it was possible to tone! I have more confidence in myself and am fitting into clothes almost 14 years old  – pre 2 children!I have more energy, following the eating plan and exercising in this way, I feel totally revitalised and don’t feel the need to take any vitamin supplements anymore. I am stronger than I ever thought I would be  – lifting weights that I wouldhave refused to touch last year, Stuart has made me believe that anything is possible.  I have totally embraced the training and eating plan to the point where it has become a way of life – but an enjoyable one.  Approaching each session with nervous anticipation and finding it impossible to miss one.I owe a huge amount of thanks to Stuart for changing my life for the better – he motivates in a positive way, encouraging me to get better each week and consequently seeing results all the time!”

“After starting a little over a year ago, I have noticed huge improvements in my own performance. Both my endurance and muscle tone have been pushed and developed, and in 2011 I completed both the London and Bedford Olympic distance triathlons in respectable times. In April 2012 I achieved a lifelong ambition in running the Milton Keynes Marathon in 3 hours 42 minutes, an achievement which would not have been possible without the training and support of Stuart and Caveman Conditioning. The programme prepared me, both physically and mentally for these challenges, in classes which are fast paced and extremely friendly – there is a real sense of camaraderie and team spirit. My next target is to tackle a half ironman, and I know that with the help of Captain Caveman I will be given the preparation and support to achieve this.”

There is something for everyone, no matter what your fitness goals are or what specific event your training for.   I attend Caveman Conditioning weekly because I know I’m guaranteed a high intensity work-out which will focus on all different parts of my body, it’s definitely the best all round fitness class around. Relating Caveman Conditioning to training for a specific event, I found it a great addition to my training when I was training to run a marathon.
