TIGER SHROFF CREATES A FRENZY

Mumbai, 14th April, 2014:  Heropanti’s dashing debutant Tiger Shroff is just one movie trailer old, but that hasn’t stopped him from garnering a major fan base. Last weekend, the handsome actor was mobbed while on his way to Karjat for a song shoot. Few college going girls spotted him en-route and began screaming out Tiger’s name. Their chants were loud enough to make his driver stop the car. Only after Tiger spoke to all of them and gave them his autograph did the girls calm down and let him drive on.

The trailer for Heropanti has been receiving rave reviews, particularly for Tiger’s world-class action sequences and his perfectly chiseled body. It seems like all the hard work the actor has put in has yielded exceptional results. The ‘Whistle Baja’ song and step has connected with audiences all over in just 2 days after release, and is well on its way to becoming a sure fire hit.

Heropanti is a coming of age love story of two young conflicting protagonists and their battles with society. Presented by UTV Motion Pictures & Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and directed by Sabbir Khan, the movie is slated to release on 23rd May, 2014.

With Juvederm Fillers, give the ideal shape to your nose

Dr. Vandana Chatrath, Dermatologist, Delhi

You might love them or loathe them but you can’t ignore them. May it be pop star Madonna or Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra; their perfect facial features leave every women craving.  The secret behind their irresistible and appealing personality is not only their talent but their “picture perfect face”.

Facial feature correction is a booming trend in market today, and Rhinoplasty popularly known as “Nose Job” is the most sought after treatment that is gaining popularity among celebrities as well as masses. Often people complain about their ill defined or irregular noses that simply do not compliment to their personalities, while many of them are born with nose deformities.

Rhinoplasty is one among some of the popular procedure that can enhance the appearance of your nose. Deformities like deviated nose, crooked nose, saddle nose or small nose can be treated by Rhinoplasty. Traditionally it is done by surgery, but now non-surgical treatment like Juvederm is gaining popularity as it is less time consuming and near painless procedure.

Rhinoplasty, commonly known as nose job, is a popular surgery done to improve the shape and size of the nose- such that it suits ones personality just right. This surgical procedure is also done to improve the breathing problem. It can change the size of the nose as well as its width and profile.

These days, most of the minor corrections can be easily done with advanced fillers such as Juvederm XC or Juvederm Voluma. Usually nose can be elevated, and can be made to look straight with fillers. Similarly, these fillers can be also used to achieve minor flattening of nose with ill defined bridge.

Smriti Arora, a 19 yr old girl who studies in Delhi University, says that i  was not very happy with the shape of my nose and the idea of going under the knife gives me nightmares, so the idea of non cosmetic rhinoplasty is so overwhelming and I right away got it done and happy to see the results.

Another person, Vidhi Khatri, 25, has also gone for rhinoplasty and seems satisfied with the results, she said that because next year she about to get married so wanted to leave no stone unturned, and she is content that now she has got a whole new look just because that perfect shaped nose.

With the help of Rhinoplasty, wide nose can be made narrower, depressed nose can be elevated, crooked nose -straightened, big nose made smaller and sharper. Nostrils can be made smaller and tip can be elevated.

Prateek Sharma, who is a software engineer, 27, was very upset about his widely shaped nose and he came to know about this non cosmetic surgery through her girlfriend. He says through this procedure his nose became narrow now and he wants to recommend this treatment to others as well.

Minor corrections on hump or depression of bridge, bridge irregularity, nose deviation without breathing problems and nose tip lift are some of the common problems addressed non-surgically with Juvederm fillers.

Dermal fillers are hyaluronic acid filler which are available in prefilled syringes. This small amount of Juvederm fillers are administered by intradermal injection which temporarily filling and augmenting the treated area of nose to elevate it and correct minor humps, depressions and irregularities.

Juvederm XC gives comfortable injection experience with a lesser treatment time. It contains preservative-free lidocaine that numbs the treatment area within seconds, potentially reducing the need for an additional anesthetic.

Both surgical and non-surgical procedures have their own benefits. According to the requirement and expectations, a candidate can choose between these two procedures with the help of an expert. In addition, these procedures are not recommended for people under the age of 18.

In a month we receive at least 3-4 requests for both surgical and non surgical procedures. Filler injections have advantages of immediate result with no downtime and it last for a year. On the other hand, the surgical procedure is a permanent procedure, but with a downtime of 1-3 months. Fillers like Juvederm are the best option if you need to slightly improve and enhance size or shape of your nose.

If you too have been thinking to get nose correction done, a near painless jab of Juvederm XC filler is your one-stop solution.

Bengali bombshell actress Anjanaa B almost nude for a Hollywood film?

Bollywood actress and dancer Anjanaa B has been signed on for a Hollywood film. While not much information is available right now, bollywood and news portal IndiaNewz.in reported that the hot Bengali bombshell who acted in films like Zilla Gaziabad, Right Ya Wrong, Chashme Baddoor and has done ad films like Vithoba dantmanjan, Nmart, Zalim lotion, Kabjamrut, etc., recently did a special photo shoot or look test for a Hollywood director David S Wolfe who was in Mumbai to sign on two actors. Anjanaa whose real name is slightly different, also recently tweaked her name on Wolfe’s advice, as the director felt her original name was not “hot enough”.

Anjanaa B has also featured in a Bhojpuri film Ee Mati Mein Sab Kuch Kathe in which she played the lead female role. She has also been doing theater for the last 5 years and has acted in plays like Uncle Samjha Karo, See No Evil Hear No Evil and Get rid of my Wife. The proposed Hollywood film has excerpts of the Kamasutra entwined into its script and will have ample doses of steamy or bold scenes, which will be very aesthetically shot in locales like Scotland, Thailand and in southern parts of India including Goa and Pondicherry, sources said.

David Wolfe of Weeping Shadow Films from Sussex, Great Britaian also met with a well-known Bollywood hero – whose name has been kept under wraps as his artiste agreement has still to be registered with the concerned authorities. But it seems, the young actor is known for his muscular body and physique and has featured in 4-5 Bollywood films including one with John Abraham.

Sources told IndiaNewz.in that the film is titled Love and Passion in India and will feature Anjanaa B, a well-known Bollywood hero and another Indian model as well as two female Hollywood actors, the names of whom are not yet released. We managed to track down Wolfe at his hotel at Juhu in suburban Mumbai before he could fly out of India, but his lips were sealed. All that he shared after a lot of coaxing was, “I am casting for the film Love and Passion in India and we are looking for a known Bollywood star to play the main lead. We have zeroed in on Anjanaa B for the female main lead and I will be back to Mumbai within a week to complete the formalities. The film does include a few bold scenes, but I can’t reveal much at this stage,” Wolfe said. IndiaNewz.in managed to get hold of a couple of exclusive photographs of the look test with Anjanaa B where the voluptuous babe is seen wearing a wet, white, see-through sari, though the images had to be blurred to make it publishable. Enjoy

Starkids turn filmmakers ...

What are the children of Mumbai’s Filmy set doing on the weekends? Making movies! The new leaders of the dream team of the Bollywood bratpack bring to the fore their acting skills, cinematography, direction and writing abilities with a series of short films. Taught by American film and theatre director, Ellen “Dash” Walter, the naaradanushaare encouraged to break new ground in cinematic approaches. Tagged the dream team premiere, the event featured short narratives, art films, trailers and music videos created by the current batch of SIS IB Film students and was held at the Lightbox Preview Theatre, Santacruz.

Current IB Film students at Singapore International School include the children of film industry leaders like Rajkumar Hirani, Parmeet Sethi & Archana Puran Singh, Tony & Deeya Singh, Raju & Sherley Singh and Ken Ghosh among others. Gia Singh’s grandmother Guneeta Bajaj, Sutapa Sikdar and son Babil Khan, director Kabir Sadanand, Ellen Dash Walter of Singapore International School amomg others came to cheer the youngsters.

Film students at SIS often choose to weave important social issues into their work, thanks to the global approach of the IB Curriculum at SIS. Giaa Singh Arora, a senior IB Film student, chose a subject close to her heart. “My screenplay is about a small boy who believes a girl dislikes him because of his turban. I am a Sikh and my father was a part of the 1984 riots where he was forced to cut his turban.  I felt this was an interesting modern subject that I wanted to reflect through a heart wrenching innocent love story involving young school children” says Giaa, director of one of the featured preview films, Superman Pagdi Nahin Pehenta Kya?

Giaa enlisted Vir Hirani, a 10th grade student at SIS as her cinematographer. He comes by his talent naturally and his father, director Rajkumar Hirani, said about the film, “Coming from a school girl, it was a delight to watch the film. It could match any professional work, great job”. Vir will be joining the IB Film program at SIS next year, along with other children of prominent Indian film directors and others.

Aryaman Sethi chose Odyssey, an experimental musical on a young man who finds his true calling, a subject that deals with the life of a person who is yet to find his reason for existence. Odyssey follows his journey towards this eventual realisation: Music. It’s a visually heavy and symbolic film. The film stars Aryaman and the cinematography is by Rachel Singh. Says Rachel, “Odyssey is life changing experience, both the storyline and mine. I’ve learnt to work in available resources, importance of teamwork, importance and of light and the important a of pre production and organization.”

Another student of IB Film program Karan Ghosh son of Ken Ghosh directed a music video of his band Syntax Error with a stop-motion narrative on a love-hate relationship. He wrote the song and then shot the video a week after recording it. He edited the video himself over the following month and then submitted it to his film teacher as his final film. “The actress Yoshika Verma is an old friend of mine who volunteered to play the role of the girl in the music video for me. She also managed to get Jatin Goswami, a friend of hers. We shot the music video in a total of 2 days. One day we shot the band in the amphitheatre of Raheja Exotica in Madh Island (courtesy of Archana Puran Singh & Parmeet Sethi) and the following day we shot the stop-motion narrative with the actors in my living room. On both these days, my father Ken Ghosh was the cinematographer,” says Karan Ghosh.

Poet-Playwright Gopi Warrier’s two plays “Ego of the Yogis” and “Polyester Lordship” debut in London theatre evoking rave reviews

Adi Sankaracharya’s Sanskrit Shlokas on London Theatre Stage for the 1st time ever sung by two leading classical singers from Kerala

Ø  A must for all corporate executives, yoga students and spiritual seekers – shows are on till April 24, 2014 at Steiner Theatre

Ø  Two major plays on Corporate Responsibility and the Search for Spirituality reflecting contemporary times

Ø  Hologram of the illusory universe used in the play designed by Hollywood’s famous special effects director Jon Bunker

Mumbai, April 11, 2014: Theatre of Devas and New End Theatre showcase the WORLD PREMIÈRE of two major plays by leading poet and playwright Gopi Warrier (an Alumnus of London Business School, Ècole des Haute Études Commerciàles and New York University Graduate School of Business) at the magnificent Steiner Theatre in London from April 1, 2014 to April 24, 2014.

Directed by Alex Crampton, the cast contains leading British actors and actresses including the beautiful Sarah Hall, classical actor Tim Heath, Sanjive Hayre (who has acted as Jawaharlal Nehru), Lloyd Morris, Gillian Kirkpatrick, Tim Hilborne and Paul Piggott amongst others. On selected days there will be discussions with writers, intellectuals, corporate leaders and spiritual teachers on the issues raised in the play.

The premiere was marked by a brief talk by Sir Andrew Likierman, the Dean of London Business School and a Director of the Bank of England and Barclays Bank during the interval. On the premiere night, Miss Charlotte Endacotte, a leading British actress who played the lead role in several British plays including  Shakespeare’s  “As You Like it”  and Michael Frayn’s “Noises Off ” introduced Sir Andrew Liekerman to the audience and also the cast and the director at the end of the show.

The two powerful plays, which deal with important contemporary themes, have been conceptualised by the legendary Gopi Warrier, whose exploration of Eastern and Western philosophies is an inspiration to many. Warrier evokes his unique presentation abilities to make people see through the shallowness of materialistic society and reach into our inner souls so tainted by the materialism of this world.

Another important showpiece in the play “Ego of the Yogis” is that of how the latest Japanese research mathematically proves the illusory nature of the world as the Hindus always believed. The hologram of the illusory universe was designed for Warrier by Jon Bunker, the leading special effects director for Hollywood films who has worked on ‘Star Wars’ and with Tom Cruise and George Clooney. This is based on Hindu Yantras of the cosmos that are practically in every temple and on which the deities are placed. Creating the Kshetra – the force field of the temple. These Yantras are representative of the ‘maya’ – the illusory nature of the universe which Hindu philosophy has always espoused and has NOW BEEN MATHEMATICALLY and scientifically proven by the researchers at the Ibaraki University in Japan.

PLAY 1: “Ego of the Yogis”- Search for Spirituality in this Utterly Contaminated World The play centres on an upper class English woman’s quest for true love and her search for a spiritual teacher. Disillusioned by her marriage she meets an Indian teacher briefly who tells her that all life is an illusion and only through yoga and meditation can one attain liberation from the cycles of birth and death. To find the teacher again she encounters a number of fake gurus and becomes more and more disenchanted with the contemporary world of spiritual seekers until her secret obsession is resolved unexpectedly.

PLAY 2: “Polyester Lordship” – International Business Corruption vs. Social Responsibility in the Quest for a Peerage

This play about the corrupt nature of many acquisitions and mergers, involving international businesses in most countries but particularly in Asia, takes the audience through the murky negotiations for the acquisition of an Indian textile factory. Aggressive executives from London deal with the shady underworld – but also honourable characters, both British and Indian, who demonstrate principled corporate responsibility to workers and the local community. An evolving relationship between two of the directors brings an element of love and compassion into the tense and very dangerous developments in the factory and the city of Mumbai as the deal progresses.

About Gopi Warrier: Gopi Warrier has lived in London for 34 years. He studied English Literature in India and then came to London Business School and completed an MBA in International Business from here and from Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales in Paris and the New York University Graduate School of  Business. He comes from a well known and distinguished family of writers, physicians, diplomats and administrators including Chief Ministers to the erstwhile kings of Kerala. His grand father M. R. Krishna Warrier was a leading poet of Kerala and his father G. P. Warrier the Chairman of the Indian National Railways and Principal Secretary to the Government of India. Warrier has published three volumes of poetry including Varaha The Secret of Evolution and the Lament of JC and the art film produced and co-directed by him based on his poetry was nominated for the best spiritual film award at the Greatlakes film festival in the U.S and also chosen to be exhibited at Canadian, French andHongkong film festivals. He has staged five plays in London including God Sports, The Tenth Incarnation, Genesis of Karma-Three Faces of Evil, Siddhivinayak Saves Mumbai from Terror Attack. Reviewers on Gopi Warrier’s plays

“Beautiful, extraordinary, perfectly timed” – The Economic Times *****

“The play written by Gopi Warrier tackles the huge divide between Western values, ideas about medicine, spirituality and the lack of it in the West, racism, poetry, love and philosophy. Gopi Warrier manages to weave all this into wonderful poetry which makes you want to catch and linger on every word” – Linda Bilgorri on ‘Godsports’ at New End Theatre.

“Gopi Warrier’s genius is the synthesis of Eastern and Western Mythologies” – The Hindustan Times.

“Gopi Warrier lives in London and has lived in and travelled around the world. He has a facile pen for satire, eye for the shape of language and a sensitive ear for cadence” – Keki Daruwalla, leading Indian poet writing in the Hindustan Times

“Tenth Incarnation is a tale of love on an earthly level and the exploration of happiness, redemption and truth on an ethereal level. This is cerebral theatre at its best. Highly recommended.” – Dale Maitland Cartwright.
