But don't let his rugged good looks or his affinity for cotton candy and movies starring Ryan Gosling fool you. Ken, or "King" Ken, is a Martial Arts Hall Of Fame inductee with over 80 fights under his belt. He's won various kickboxing titles including ISKA Pro Super Middle Weight and Light Heavyweight World Championships and also earned belts and championships in Judo and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Ken has earned black belts in various martial art styles such as Shaolin Kempo Karate, American Kenpo, Vee Arnis Jitsu, Tang Soo Do, Hapkido and has extensive training in Muay Thai. Ken has previously owned and operated five martial arts schools and trained thousands youth and adult students in his 23 year teaching career. TRY US FOR FREE COACHES Coach Alex Kearschner Coach Alex started his martial arts training at age 6 in Kanshin Ryu Kempo Karate. As he workedhis way through the belt ranking system, he also competed in several traditional Karate style tournaments and was recognized as “Most Talented” student. Additionally, Coach Alex was selected to be part of the leadership team to assist in instructing classes. On November 11, 2011, Coach Alex earned the rank of Shodan 1st Degree Black Belt in Kanshin Ryu Kempo Karate. In search of expanding his martial arts training, he began studying the art of eight limbs, better known as Muay Thai. Since starting Muay Thai in 2013, Coach Alex has competed in amateur Thai Boxing fights and has a current record of 3-1. In the future, Coach Alex plans to study Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Judo in preparation to compete in MMA fights. With 20 years of martial arts experience, Coach Alex hopes to continue his lifelong passion. Coach Devin Logan Coach Devin has over two years of experience as a professional Mixed Martial Arts personal trainer/instructor, working independently training individual clients andgroups. Each of his session’s main focus are geared toward improving technique, form, fitness and/or competition. He has been training in martial Arts for nine years and he has five years of experience in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and trained under Luis Togno at Alliance Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Charlotte from 2008 to 2010. Coach Devin is currently working on achieving the rank of Purple Belt under John Plyler at Fight to Win Denver Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He has also trained for over five years in Muay Thai, Mixed Martial Arts, Combat Submission Wrestling, Weapons Combat, and Reality Based Training with Rob Hunter at Hard Target Martial Arts, and has trained at many schools in the Charlotte area. He has a successful track record in competitions as a Gold Medalist at the 2010 South Carolina Grappling Competition in Colombia South Carolina. His fitness goal for all clients are to deliver safe, effective, fun, and challenging workouts that are personalized for each individual client’s needs thatwill maximize their results. As well as maintain a professional relationship geared toward improving the client’s health and wellness. Coach Rodney Wallace Coach Rodney is a professional boxer and MMA fighter. He has competed in the UFC as well as other major promotions from around the world such as Bellator MMA, Brazil’s Jungle Fight, and Russian-based M-1 Global. He currently is the Light Heavyweight Champion in both the Warfare Championships and Brazil’s Smash organizations. In addition to his 5-1 record in boxing matches, Coach Rodney sports an impressive MMA record of 22-10-1 and has competed against famed fighters such as former WEC Champions Paulo Filho and Brian Stann. The 33-year old Carolina native has participated in athletics throughout his life. Coach Rodney started weight lifting and wrestling in the seventh grade which carried him to an impressive career in high school. There he was three-time state champion and the 2004 Senior High School Wrestler of the Year with arecord of 130 wins and only 3 losses. His success in athletics led Coach Rodney to Catawba College on a football scholarship. There, he was a three-time All-Conference player as well as owner of many school rushing records. In addition to his skills in boxing and wrestling, Coach Rodney has been training in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu for over 8 years. He is a two-time North American Grappling Association Absolute Champion and holds the rank of purple belt under UFC Hall of Famer, Royce Gracie.
