Terrell Owens Snubbed From the Hall of Fame

Modern candidates Brett Favre, Tony Dungy, Marvin Harrison, Kevin Greene, and Orlando Pace, along with senior candidates Ken Stabler and Dick Stanfel, and former owner Eddie DeBartolo, Jr.. Earlier today I  for what I thought the committee would do. While it took them over 8 hours of deliberations, I still managed to correctly nail the selections based on past voting results and the incoming class. Terrell Owens should have been a no-brainer choice as a five time all pro, the most for any wide receiver not named Jerry Rice, since the merger. Dallas Cowboys wide receiver (81) Terrell Owens leaves Carolina Panthers (31) cornerback Richard Marshall on the turf after making a pass reception for a touchdown as the Dallas Cowboys faced the Carolina Panthers at the Bank of America Stadium Saturday, December 22, 2007 in Charlotte, North Carolina. But, I didn’t think they would, as Marvin Harrison has served his time (well, not in the real world, but in the HOF waiting sense behind selections of Andre Reed and Tim Brown the last two years). I also thought Kurt Warner would be done in by Favre being on this ballot, and thought they wouldn’t go two QBs. , , , , 463 shares share tweet sms send email
