The 27-year-old Newell was born without a left arm past his elbow. It’s a disability that on paper would seem a tremendous disadvantage for a mixed martial artist. Clearly, that isn’t the case for Newell. “There’s so many things that I’ve learned to do that people said I’d never be able to do,” Newell . “It just kind of makes me laugh at this point.” “You can say, ‘Oh, life’s not fair,’ and complain and think the world owes you something.
